갈수록과 점점은 모두 "점점 더"라는 의미로 시간이 지남에 따라 강도나 정도가 변하는 것을 나타냅니다. 뉴스에서 사회 현상의 심화·악화·확대를 설명할 때 자주 씁니다. • 갈수록: "as time goes on / increasingly" — 더 문어체적, 보도문에 자연스러움 • 점점: "gradually / more and more" — 구어와 문어 모두 사용 • 갈수록 + 비교급: "갈수록 더 심해지다" (becomes increasingly severe) • 부정적 변화뿐 아니라 긍정적 변화에도 사용 가능
