Express doing something for someone: -아/어 주다 - Do something for (casual/neutral) • 도와주세요 = Please help me • 사 줄게요 = I'll buy it for you • Focus: benefit to the receiver -아/어 드리다 - Do something for (honorific) • 도와 드릴게요 = I'll help you (respectful) • Used when doing for elders/customers -아/어 주시다 - Someone does for me (honorific) • 선생님이 가르쳐 주셨어요 = The teacher taught me Request forms: • -아/어 주세요 = Please do for me • -아/어 줄래요? = Will you do for me? • -아/어 줄 수 있어요? = Can you do for me?
